Starkey, a simple stallion, was just a lad when the pillaging happened. The crew had come at night, swift as foxes. The royal guard tried to fight them off but there were too many.
    "Starkey," said his mother " you must stay inside out of danger. Your father will handle this and keep you safe."
    The boy nodded and ran into the basement. His mother could not follow she put a barrel on top of it so he would not get out. She went looking for his sister, she had been playing hide and seek with Starkey. His father came running from up stairs. He grabbed his cap and gun and ran out the door. The mother pushed crates in front of the door, to make sure no one would get in. They rammed the door, multiple times, she ran upstairs and locked away the key blade in a safe place where she knew Starkey would find it. His sister was hiding under the bed crying. Their mother put herself over her to protect her. Starkey stayed silent. He heard a scream that sounded like his mother and sister,then a gun shot. He cried himself to sleep repeating to himself it'll be okay. The boy woke up, he could only hear the seagulls and waves hitting the shore. He pushed the hatch up, the barrel was blown to bits and his home, half burned. 
    " Mother? Father? Sister?" he cried out
    The stairs were still there, he climbed them and looked under the floorboards. In a cloth, the key blade was wrapped. He took it out, and held it. The boy turned around and fell to his knees. He saw the burned corpse of his mother. He held back his cry, his father and sister were no where to be seen. His father told him to never be weak, never give up, and always keep going. That day the boy vowed to find his father, sister, and the killers of his mother. It would take a while but he would.

Several Years Later...

    SLAM! " You think you can scam me mate?"
    " No sir, I am not scamming you if anything you are scamming me!" said Starkey
    " Why I oughta! "
    Quickly Starkey grabbed the letter and rushed out of there without looking back. The cape of his hood flowing as he ran. He turned the corner and hid behind the building. He opened it up.
    If you seek the true identity you find one who is black and white, a triple force, and the red orphan.
    " What does this mean?" he asked out loud
    " It means you have to find me, Treforce, and Red." said Pervy
    " You must be the black and white one."
    " Correct, I am Pervy Panda, do not ask how I got my name. I will help you find the rest of the crew, and we will help you get what you want, but for a price."
    " What is that price?"
    " I will tell you when I think of it."
    " Alright."
    " Onward, we must find Treforce."
    They walked into a pub not far away. The looked all over it. Pervy walked up to the lady who was serving drinks, gave her three gold shillings and she led them down a hallway. They saw Treforce dancing on a table, money was being thrown at him. He looked like he was drunk but Pervy knew he was faking so he could get some money.
    " Treforce!" called Pervy
    " Aye! Pervy, it has been far too long old friend. How are you doing with the mares these days?"
    " Better than before, this is Starkey, me and you are joining his crew."
    " Sure, why not? I've got nothing else going on."
    " I bet you know who we need to find next."
    " Ooh, last time the three of us were together, you and her were a special thing."
    " Only lass I used to love, but me and her are no longer a thing. She wed another, and hates me. I deserved to lose her, but it's okay, I've got a list of mares now." said Pervy
    " Wow, you'll probably leave with hoof prints all over your face again."
    " Aye, she was really mad."
    " What did you do?" asked Starkey
    " I cheated on her with a risky mare from Zebrapor. If I truly loved the first I wouldn't have gone for the second." said Pervy
    " It's alright sir, she was the captain after all."
    " SHE WAS YOUR CAPTAIN?" Starkey said shocked
    " Yes, we used to be a crew, I was the first mate. Our motto was take what you can, never give back. She made it up, after we broke up, she said it to me as we parted."
    " Harsh. Let's go look for her." said Treforce
    " Ugh, this is going to suck, so bad!" groaned Pervy
    They walked around all day looking for where Red would be. They searched everywhere except one place.
    " Uhm, they don't like me in there." gulped Pervy
    " Who does?" asked Starkey
    They walked through the doors, there was a crowd surrounding what looked like a fight. The three stallions pushed their way to the friend with their hoods over their heads.
    " OI! Who else would like to get killed on the spot?" she asked, the crowd cheered
    She had a red coat on, swords that stayed on her ankles and retracted, a black captain's hat, two piercings on each ear, a scar on her neck, and a wicked grin. She turned her head and saw the Pervy in the yellow cloak.
    " Maybe you want to go next?" she held the blade right at his neck and lowered his hood.
    " Hello love. Miss me?" smirked Pervy
    " I can't live with out you sweetheart." she said with an annoyed expression
    " You know you missed me, and everything we had."
    She sliced the front of his mane.
    " I did not! You cheated on me!"
    " You wed another! Where is the poor lad anyway?"
    " HANGED!" she cried out, the crowd backed off and went back to their own business
    " For what?"
    " He was involved in the great pillaging that took place several years ago. He killed many people, but he spared the children."
    Starkey pushed Pervy out of the way, disarmed her, and pinned her against a wall.
    " Tell me, who did he save?" Starkey spoke quietly but forceful
    " He saved three, two colts and a filly." she coughed out
    " WHO WAS THE FILLY?" He cried
    " She, her mother was murdered in front of her and he saw the father running away. So he fought off the other pirates and took her to the shores of New Canterlot."
    Pervy and Treforce grabbed Starkey and pulled him back.
    " You must be her brother. Starkey, right?"
    " Yes, how did you know?"
    " He and I raised her, she left when she got her cutiemark and the other two went with her."
    " You raised a child?" asked Pervy
    " Yes and it's none of your concern."
    " Will you help me find her, my father and the murderers of my mother?"
    " Yes, but on one condition, we get a good vessel, you're the captain, I'm the first mate, and we leave now."
    " Deal."
